Michaela Ewen
Bio
Michaela Ewen is a PhD materials scientist and alumna of the European School of Materials Science (EEIGM) in Nancy and Universität des Saarlandes, Saarbrücken.
After 13 years in Saarland’s steel industry, she now serves as Project Coordinator for PACT-H2 at the Saarland Hydrogen Agency GmbH. In this role, she collaborates with 27 partners to advance the cross-border hydrogen economy in the Greater Region while actively contributing to the structural transformation in Saarland. Her work focuses on promoting social acceptance, awareness, and communication in the field of hydrogen technologies. She supports the Saarland Hydrogen Strategy 2025–2032 and facilitates dialogue between science, policy, and practice.
